Jazmin Truesdale

Founder and CEO of Aza Entertainment and creator of Aza Comics, the universe of women heroes behind The Keepers.

Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, Jazmin holds degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Charlotte and Florida Tech (MBA). She founded Aza in 2014 after a dinner with her multicultural circle of friends inspired a team of women from different backgrounds who protect the universe from evil. Today the Aza books reach readers in more than 70 countries, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Novel comics

The Aza books are novel comics: traditional novels where the action scenes are illustrated. You read the story, then you see the fight.

Made by people, not AI

No AI is used to write the Aza books or create the art. Every story and every illustration in the Aza Universe is made by real people.

Heroines for everyone

Five women from five corners of the world, each with her own power and her own fight, written for readers who never saw themselves on the cover.

Cinematic 3D work

Crafted down to the detail

Jazmin creates cinematic 3D renders of the Aza Universe, composing, lighting and finishing every scene down to the last detail. No AI. Ever.

“I wanted women and girls to see themselves as capable, resourceful, multidimensional beings who can go out and make things happen. They can save themselves and you too.”
